If your focus for this server is security, then one of the coolest things about a live distro like this is that your root partition is or can be read-only depending on if you install it or run it off the cd. A couple of options for this is you could remaster the live cd to include your website, which is something I might cover in a future PCLug if you guys are interested. Another option would be to install DSL to a USB Thumbdrive and copy your website to the thumbdrive, which is what we'll be doing today. If you go with the thumbdrive approach, you could purchase, or you may already have a thumbdrive with an external read-write switch which would make the read only status of the device more obvious and it's never a bad idea to have the status backed up by a hard wired switch instead of just software settings. One more thing about the security is that you shouldn't create any user specific accounts on the system if possible and especially not any that have the same name or password as any other account you might have on another machine because while the hacker can't change or destroy anything on your read-only drive, he night be able to read anything he wants to.
If your website is going to take a large amount of drive space, another option would be to install DSL to a USB external hard drive. This could give you plenty of room for your website, but is not quite as portable.
